It's new blog time! As of December 31, 2022, I will have quit my job and will be pursuing a career in freelance tutoring - but that's not what this blog is about. My first item of business is taking a sabbatical, and I want to organize my crafting and get a handle on all of the projects I have in progress, as well as take stock of my craft stashes and stick to a buying freeze since my income is currently zero and won't get to a "fun money" level for quite a while.
First: take stock of WIPs, know where they are, update status on Ravelry if applicable. Include all crafts: knitting and crochet, spinning, sewing, embroidery.
Second: plan projects with deadlines. Mainly this includes my Utena costume (date TBD) and my Thailand trip wardrobe: mu'u mu'u for both of us from sarees, linen jumpsuit, maybe some shorts, maybe another mu'u mu'u.
Third: update and record yarn, fiber, and fabric stashes. Organize my storage.
